New Hope
You won't believe it. I didn't. But it has to be true. One of my great friends from another country (well, it's another continent, though) turned out to be a a Mac-lover-owner-etc. broke his Powerbook Titanium. Splitted orange juice on it by accident. Just a little bit after the warranty time expired. He was told it wasn't really fixable economically. So now he is on his iBook (still G4, still adorable).
What I know is that the logic board (the motherboard w/ built-in CPU? that's what logic board means?) is defected, the keyboard does strange noises and ... of course ... you can't turn it on. Oh, well, yes ... and it'll be mine...
Ok, I have no idea about taking apart laptops at all, but from this moment, officially, fixing this one will be my mission.
